STAYING SAFE IN THE GYM

It’s important to us that our members are staying safe in the gym whilst it is unstaffed. We’ve included some important information that you need to be aware of when the gym is unstaffed.

YOUR SAFETY AND SECURITY

Keeping you safe when you’re inside our gyms, night and day.

With 24/7 CCTV and emergency help lanyards in the gym, there's always help at hand should you ever need it. We have an automated external defibrillator (AEDs) and a first aid kit on the wall next to reception for emergency assistance. (An AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses and treats life-threatening heart emergencies.).

We provide disabled access and inductions that introduce you to your new gym so you can use it safely and confidently. You'll find some key features below, and please also read our first aid and emergency procedures document HERE.

To ensure your safety, we have CCTV cameras throughout the gym and our 24/7 CCTV team can monitor the club and contract the emergency services if needed, so you can have peace of mind working out around the clock. Suspected Entry abuse is automatically monitored by CCTV.

To make sure that you're safe inside the gym, night and day, every member is given a unique QR code that needs to be used to gain access through our speed gate each time they visit, so we know who is in our gyms at all times. Your code is for YOUR use only. Do not share it to allow anyone else in.

Our emergency help lanyards are located next to reception. Please feel free to carry one around the club with you during unmanned hours. In the event of an emergency, press and hold the orange button and a member of our CCTV team can access the cameras, assess the situation and contact the emergency servises if deemed nessesary. It's good to know help is always at hand if you need it.

All staff and personal trainers are first aid qualified so they can help in a first aid emergency inside our gyms. In the event that you  need aid during unmanned hours, the first aid box is located by reception on the wall. If you do use anything from the kit, please let a member of the team know at the earliest conveineince so we can replace the item and log your first aid event.

The Automated External Defibrillator deliver full spoken instructions to guide someone through how to use them in an emergency providing life-saving support for our members. This is located on the wall next to reception.
