Do I need any Pilates experience?
Not at all. Classes are suitable for complete beginners, and your instructor will guide you through every movement and set the springs for you.
How is it different from gym training?
Reformer Pilates uses spring resistance and controlled movement to build strength, stability and flexibility together. It's low impact, focuses on your core and form, and complements gym training really well.
When will I see results?
Most people feel a difference after their first class. With 2–3 sessions a week, you'll typically see visible changes in around 4–6 weeks.
Is it suitable if I have an injury or back pain?
Reformer Pilates is low impact and often recommended for rehab, and light spring settings are ideal for recovery. If you have a serious injury, please check with your GP or physio first, and always tell your instructor before class.
How often should I do reformer Pilates?
For the best results we recommend 2–3 sessions a week.
Is reformer Pilates just for women?
Definitely not. Reformer Pilates is for everyone, and it's especially popular with men and athletes looking to improve core strength, mobility and injury resilience.
What should I wear and bring?
Fitted, comfortable activewear and grip socks (available to buy at the studio). Bring a water bottle and arrive 5 minutes early.
How do I book?
Through the Fervid app: tap Reformer Pilates, choose member or non-member, buy a package and book your class from the Classes calendar.
What do non-member credits include?
Non-member reformer credits include use of our gym facilities on the day of your class, so you can make the most of your visit.
